One More Long Seam

This afternoon we finished stitching the 16 foot blue canton to the 24 foot short stripes. Three rows of basting stitches; four rows of serious stitches. Done.

After some thinking and studying, we laid out the 42 foot long stripes. We then placed the top of the flag over them, right sides together, and clipped the two pieces of the flag together….ready for tomorrow’s stitchers to baste them together!
