About six weeks ago I posted a photo of a large plant growing in our front yard. It was fun to watch, interesting to see the yellow blossoms, then wonder why they were disappearing. When one turned into a small round dark green something, Bob put a little cage around it to protect it from the deer or squirrels, and we watched it grow.
Finally! We have a harvest! It’s a pumpkin!
Isn’t it adorable!
But it’s only the size of a softball, so we bought it a “mentor” or “bodyguard” to protect it on the front porch during this beautiful season. So far, they are getting along well!
Enjoy this gorgeous season!
