March Maddness!

I have another life besides quilting.
It started about twenty years ago when I went to my first Maryland basketball game. I discovered that you can forget everything else and get totally immersed in a game…and scream and yell really loud….and feel great, especially when they win!
Here’s some pictures from this season.
Midway through the second half of most games, the band plays loudly and a giant Maryland flag rolls down over the student section. It comes alive with the students jumping around underneath and the entire arena cheers and claps….very fun! And it continues that flag theme from last summer!

At the women’s games we sit close enough that our mascot Testudo the Terps visits!

The last game this season, we beat Virginia in overtime and the students rushed the floor at the end. This is when it really feels great at the end of a game!

So now it’s tournament time. Bob and I went to the Final Four game last year……check that off the bucket list! Fun!

Good morning from Canada. I was just reading an old McCall’s quilting magazine and there was a picture of your Trip Around Baltimore quilt. I have had the fabric forever (sighhhhhhhh) Is it possible to get the fabric amounts for the log cabin blocks. P&B don’t have it listed on their pattern site anymore – well that I could find anyway. Thanks sew much, Mimi
