Baltimore Friendship

Wednesday night I took our finished Baltimore Friendship Garden quilt to the Baltimore Applique Society meeting. It was hanging straight so I got a good photo of the entire quilt! I just love that scalloped edge! Look back at the post on June 2 for more information on this quilt.

Our Friendship Garden is going to hang in an exhibit at TQHF and then will be donated to their quilt collection. My students who made blocks will represent all of us with some stitches in the Hall of Fame!

Something fun happened on Wednesday! Several stitchers took photos in front of the quilt pointing to the block they made! It was fun to see and to watch their smiles! Kay Butler, Kristin and Bev Schenning reminded me of the photos we took during the Star Spangled Stitching project, when we proudly pointed to the stars we stitched! Aren’t group projects fun!
